McLaren Vale is one of Australia’s finest tourism regions recognised for its Mediterranean beauty, amazing food and world renowned wines, not forgetting the amazing lifestyle that we offer in McLaren Vale. The region possesses a unique heritage including some of Australia’s oldest wineries and vineyards. Nestled between the rolling hills and picturesque coastlines create ideal grape growing conditions that we obtain as harmony between the vines and tits environment.

McLaren Vale is located forty Kilometres south of Adelaide, generally described as the area bounded by Sellicks Beach and Willunga in the South to O’Halloran Hill in the north and Mount Barker to the east. The Climate is Mediterranean, cool wet winters, long summers from December to March. The average rainfall is 550 mm with about 20% falling in the summer months. The soil is red loam over limestone, some clay for a portion of the region with heavy to light sandy loam over clay. Much of the region’s soils being impregnated with ironstone.

Middlebrook is nestled in the foothills of the Willunga scarp and the Cellar Door area overlooks landscape gardens which are fringed by stately gums. The Tuscan style cellar and tasting room showcases the Middlebrook and Cogno Brothers wines, which covers an exceptional McLaren Vale and South Australian range.
